About Paper Shredders Info
Paper Shredders Info is an independent site that explains paper shredders and helps you compare the models people buy for a home desk or a small office.
We write for ordinary shoppers. You don't need to know any shredder jargon, because we explain each term in plain words.
What you will find here
Our guides cover how shredders work, what strip-cut, cross-cut and micro-cut really mean, and how security levels, sheet capacity and run time change what a machine can do.
We also compare models from brands such as Fellowes, Aurora and Amazon Basics, and we write short care guides for cleaning, sharpening and retiring a shredder.
How we work
We read the specs, features and maker details for every product we cover. We also look at what buyers often say after they have used one.
Then we write it up as plain guides, side-by-side comparisons and clear picks. Our How we research page has the full process.
What we are not
We aren't a shredder maker or a shop. We don't sell shredders, and no brand pays us to rank its products.
Paper Shredders Info is a new, independent site, and we have no ties to any maker. We also don't claim to have tested every machine ourselves.
How we earn money
Some links on this site go to stores such as Amazon. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
That never changes which products we pick. Our affiliate disclosure explains more.
